Finance Operations – Fixed-Term Contract, 12-months
This Finance Operation role is responsible for the monthly settlements of Insurer statements, resolving account queries, maintaining insurer relationships, and improving financial operational processes.
Location: Sandyford, Dublin 18 or Marine Point, Waterford (hybrid)
Reporting line: Finance Operations - Team Leader
Key Internal Relationships: FinOps team & Managers, overall Finance department, Regional Business Managers.
Key External Relationships: Insurers.

Role Accountabilities and Core Responsibilities
FinOps Reconciliation team:
Responsible for the monthly settlements of Insurer statements.
Lease with Insurers to resolve account queries
Have all Insurer payment and account queries finalised by month end
Complete your Performance Reviews and Day Force Learning modules in a timely manner
Participate in training requirements for your role
Attend weekly team meetings
Work to maintain good team morale
Customer Relationship Management:
Champion a service-oriented culture, positioning the team as a key partner to internal customers and raising team visibility across the organisation
Build effective working relationships with all customers by establishing trust, anticipating needs, sharing information and striving to help the business meet the goal of no-account queries greater than 6 months.
Customer Service:
Ensure all variances are investigated and resolved or escalated in a timely and accurate manner.
Be proactive in dealing with issues as you become aware of them and demonstrate a positive attitude in dealings with colleagues.
Compliance:
Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and reconciliation data as required
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards
Requirements:
Knowledge of Open I and Relay preferred.
Demonstrate strong technical knowledge and ability to learn.
Proficient in Excel.
Possess a can-do attitude and the ability to adapt to and embrace change.
Have excellent communication, time management and organisational skills.
The ability to prioritise workloads and adapt to unforeseen events.
