Senior Consultant - Employee Benefits
Reporting to the Associate Director, the purpose of the role is to support the Arachas Employee Benefits team to generate income, build relationships with existing and potential customers and provide excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
This role is key part of Arachas EB Team, working with Associate Director and CEO at a strategic level to deliver:
Lead existing major group client annual review and renewals, working with Associate Director
Key point of contact for assigned medium to large employers for strategic matters, which may include;
Manage Renewals; Risk, Pension and eventually medical
Provide Sector / competitor benchmarking related queries
Auto-Enrolment reviews / current scheme participation reviews
Ad hoc employer benefit design queries
Participate in ongoing review, improvement and streamlining of EB Administration and Consultancy services to Group Clients.
Represent Broking team at group meetings in the absence of Associate Director Broking.
Mentoring of EB Broker Team
Liaise with EB Consultants (New business) following Benefits Roll out to assign EB broker.
Support and promote best practice in governance and compliance at all times.
In time, assist to develop further in-house and external training for EB Team (brokers and consultants) in liaison with HR, Compliance, CEO and Associate Directors
Supervise delivery of EB administration services via EB Broker Team.
Escalate queries to providers and team members as appropriate.
Liaise with insurers / service providers in relation to delivery and process, constantly seeking to improve and refine delivery, in consultation with CEO and EB colleagues.
Requirements:
· Desire to learn and grow in the role, desire to complete further education such as PMI APA
· Excellent organisational and communication skills.
· Represent the company and present on client sites as needed.
· Attend 1-1 EB clinics with employees on client sites.
· Represent the company at conferences and promotional events as needed.
· Other Ad hoc duties as required, such as attend Trustee / pension committee meetings.
· Minimum qualification QFA, preferred MIIPM, AIIPM, CFP, QPT, PTP

Location
Role based in Cork, Limerick, Waterford – office to be confirmed (current practice – geographically closest to your home). Some travel will be required when visiting client sites, conferences, and will be agreed in advance.
