Claims Executive, Commercial Lines - Broking (West)
The purpose of this position is a Commercial Claims Executive role working within our Galway Commercial Lines division. The role entails working on commercial accounts with an account director/executive and managing all matters relating to claims.
Claims Management:
• Distributing incoming and outgoing mail and correspondence related to claims.
• Registering and setting up new claims onto the internal system.
• Reviewing and analysing claim documentation, including policies, medical records, and witness statements.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date claim records, documentation and renewal reports. • Liaise with insurance underwriters, clients, and other relevant parties to gather necessary information for claim processing.
• Prepare and issue reports to clients regarding claim status and developments. • Provide administrative support, to ensure efficient claim handling.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
• Staying updated on relevant industry regulations, policies, and procedures related to claims administration. Customer Relationship Management: Build long term trusted relationships with customers, through understanding their needs and being a true partner.

Customer Service:
• Provide professional, action-orientated and timely service to our customers, staff and management.
• Put customers at the heart of everything you do, aiming to delight them during every interaction to build loyalty.
Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with designated Account Directors. • Working as part of a team environment to ensure all customer needs are met.
Compliance:
• Work with the team manager and compliance teams in ensuring that quality of file records meets prescribed standards.
Requirements:
- APA Qualified / CIP Preferable
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Demonstrate good and technical knowledge
Person Specification:
- Previous Open GI Experience
- Ability to develop relationship with insurers and clients
