Technical Trainer- Fixed Term Contract- Personal Lines - Waterford

Roles and Responsibilities:
Duties include but not limited to:
• Lead training initiatives in the COE
• Support the Learning & Development team in rolling out companywide training initiatives to the COE
• Participate and lead Classroom based training
• Provide input on onboarding [Reporting back to the Learning & Development team upon completion of monthly onboarding]
• Deliver Systems based training
• Direct employee to SOP’s in place
• Provide feedback to employee and manager on initial training delivered
• Manage initial performance in training programme
• Identifying the gaps in training / individual
• Establishing training goals with individuals
• Introduce QA Standards and processes
• Ability to Travel and deliver training regionally
• Communicate with employees the expectations under the onboarding programme
• Providing regular feedback and guidance to the employee throughout onboarding programme
• Build strong relationships within Personal Lines Team Leads and Managers to drive performance and recommend further training of the enhancement of least performing personnel
About you:
• Previous experience as an Insurance Account executive or similar
• Previous Customer Service Experience.
• Broad Knowledge of all areas of all areas of Personal Lines insurance ie MTA, Renewals, New Business
• Foundational Knowledge on relevant qualification ie APA
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word & Excel
• Presentation Skills
• Candidate must demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills are essential, both written and verbal.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong administrative skills
• Documentation control in line Arachas Procedures
• Possess the ability to manage deadlines & prioritise workload.
• A good degree of personal organisation and a structured approach to time and resource management.
• Willingness to learn & develop.
• Problem solving abilities and solution oriented.
• Strong work ethic.
Minimum Entry Requirements:
• Leaving cert or equivalent level 5 FETAC
• APA qualified [Personal Lines]
• 3-5 years Personal Lines insurance experience
• 3-5 years’ experience relay system
